Our Vision
Nurturing the Total Woman
Our vision is to make DIVAW the world’s premier women’s ministry by addressing the total woman, which includes spirit, soul, and body (I Thessalonians 5:23). This will be accomplished by presenting and making available resources and personnel that will strengthen each aspect of her triune nature. This strength will produce a balanced woman, capable of being more effective in all of her relationships. These relationships may include spouse, children, mother, father, sisters, brothers, in-laws, extended family members, friends, neighbors, employers, and all other relationships that are encountered.
DIVAW believes that if proper resources are presented in a receivable manner and applied on a consistent basis; positive healing changes will occur. These healed changes in one individual can and will spill over to that individual’s environment of relationships; manifesting a chain reaction; producing positive changes in homes, communities, businesses, cities, counties, states, and nations.
In addition, we would like to provide brief summaries of what your monthly $50.00 donations will include. All the benefits listed are available to you for being a participant of DIVAW. On this website you will find our events calender so you can begin to plan for the festivities and benefit from the blessings that awaits you. Please note, the DIVAW personnel will not be able to make any exceptions or compromises to any listed rules and guidelines. We will treat everyone equally without showing respecter of persons.
– Salon: Please bring your own products and towels. You can come in and relax and use the salon! DIVAW personnel does not use chemicals in your hair. If you have someone to wash, relax, or dye your hair, or you personally would like to put chemicals in your own hair, you are free to come in and do so. This benefit is on a first come, first serve basis.
– Library: Do you need to get away so you can be alone to read a good book? Our library is open to you, we have a selection of inspirational books to choose from or you can bring your own.
– Conference Room: You are free to have a meeting or host a small event once per month according to our availability. We offer chairs, a projector/projector screen, and a place for a snack station. *Please call us at 984-200-7673 to schedule an appointment. This service is provided on a first come, first serve basis.
– Exercise: Fitness is important and DIVAW is offering access to our exercise room. Feel free to come in during operating hours and free your mind as you come in and get fit!
– Food Pantry: Our pantry holds non-perishable items and we may provide a gift card from a local supermarket for perishables according to your needs. This is available to you once per month.
– New 2 You: This is the DIVAW Boutique where once a month you can bring two (2) items and get two (2) items during boutique hours. We do require that you bring dry cleaned and freshly laundered articles of clothing on hangers. We do reserve the right to decline items that do not fit these guidelines.
– Your Night Out: DIVAW personnel will provide childcare one night per month from 7:00pm-11:00pm (please see the DIVAW Calendar). Have a date night! Take some free time! We will make sure your lovely child(ren) will be taken care of! We have a strict policy on tardiness! If your child(ren) are not picked up by or before 11:00pm sharp, we reserve the right to decline any future requests for childcare services. *Please call us at 984-200-7673 to schedule an appointment. This service is provided on a first come, first serve basis.
– Monthly Fellowship: One Saturday per month DIVAW will host an inclusive fellowship event for all DIVAW participants where cash “Bless You” gifts will be given away; in addition to other wonderful gifts, a splendid buffet, and valuable information for nurturing the total woman.
– Flea Market: You have the opportunity to be blessed and be a blessing during various flea markets planned. You can become a vendor ($10.00) and/or simply come out and support other DIVAW participants who have businesses and goods to offer!
– Movie Night: Join us for wholesome relaxation and entertaining flicks. Enjoy free popcorn, candy bars, and soda pop!
